            Rename a Report or Dashboard Folder in Lightning Experience

            You can rename report and dashboard folders and subfolders in Lightning Experience.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
            Available in: Enhanced Folder Sharing
            User Permissions Needed
            To create report folders: Manage access for the specific folder
            To create dashboard folders: Manage access for the specific folder
            1. Open the folder on the Analytics, Reports, or Dashboards tab.
            2. On the Analytics tab, click the more actions icon and select Edit, or on the Reports or Dashboards tab, click the more actions icon and select Rename.
            3. Enter the new name.
            4. Click Save.

            The folder name is updated.
