Your administrator can set up an approval process that lets you and other users submit records for approval, which results in approval requests. When you receive an approval request, respond to it by approving, rejecting, or reassigning it. Depending on which Salesforce experience you’re using, you have some options.
A single record may need to go through several layers of approval.
You must have read access on a record to approve, reject, reassign, or recall an approval request for that record.
