The Create New Task action displays on the drop-down menu on text and content posts. When a user creates a task from a post, the task shows up in the My Task list on the user’s Home page. The Create New Task action on posts
- Is available on text and content posts, but not on system-generated posts like tracked feed updates
- Can be partly customized. You can’t change the fields, but you can change the layout of the fields.
- Generates an update that displays in the user’s feed
