Turn On the History Component for a Salesforce Console
If a console is set up, you can add the History component to the footer so that users can quickly access recent primary tabs or bookmarks without having to search Salesforce.
Available in: Salesforce Classic
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
User Permissions Needed
To turn on the History component:
With Summer ’15, Most Recent Tabs was renamed History and bookmarks were added to it to give you a more streamlined experience for finding and retrieving tabs. These features aren’t available in Internet Explorer® 7 and 8.
From Setup, enter Apps in the Quick Find box, then select Apps.
Select a Salesforce console app.
In Choose Console Components, add History to Selected Items.
In Align Custom Console Component, choose whether the component will appear in the footer’s right or left side.
