Relate people to a fleet and track their role in the maintenance and operation of the
fleet. You can associate businesses, individuals, and employees to a fleet.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer
Editions.
User Permissions Needed
To create fleet participants:
Use Fleet Management Features
From the App Launcher, find and select Fleet Participants.
Click New.
Search for and select an Asset.
If the asset is already related to a Vehicle record, the Vehicle field on Fleet Asset gets
autopopulated when you save the record.
Search for and select a Fleet.
For Effective Start Date, select the date from when the participant is related to the
fleet.
For Effective End Date, select the date till when the participant is related to the
fleet.
For Participant, select Account, Contact, or
User and select a record.
For Participant Role, select one of the following:
Driver
Maintenance Associate
Manager
Operations Manager
For Status, select one of the following:
Active
Inactive
Resigned
Click Save.
