Trailblazer always verifies your identity when you log in to your account. When you use an email address to log in, you don't use a password, like you do on many other sites. A single-use code is sent to your email address, and you use it to complete your login. You have one less password to remember, and you never have to reset your password or contact support because you forgot it.
Signing up with email means:
- You never set a password.
- You never set a username.
- Each time you log in, you receive a single-use code sent to your email.
Single-use codes can be used only one time. And they expire 30 minutes from the time sent, so don’t let that email sit around, unopened.
Verify Your Identity with Trailblazer
When you sign up or log in to your account using an email address, Trailblazer verifies your identity with a single-use code. When you have an unverified email address or social associated with your account, Trailblazer prompts you to verify it.
Link all your Salesforce orgs to one Trailblazer account. Then, you can easily manage support for each of those Salesforce orgs in one place.
Signing up or logging in to Trailblazer with an email address means that you never set a password. Instead, you verify your identity with a single-use code sent to your email address. Let’s walk through the steps for using a single-use code.
- Go to Sign Up or Log In.
- Enter your email address. Trailblazer sends a single-use code to that address.
-
Using a new tab or browser window, open your email account and retrieve the single-use
code.
Note It takes a few minutes to arrive. If it doesn’t arrive shortly, check your spam folder. - Return to the Trailblazer Enter Your Single-Use Code screen, and enter the code.
That’s all there’s to it—you’re logged in!
If you can‘t access the email account that is associated with your Trailblazer account to get the single-use code, and you have no other login method available, contact Customer Support. And after you’re back in, add another login method to your account settings so you don’t get locked out again.
To stop getting the single-use code from your email every time you log in, go to your account settings page and add a login method other than email. It can be a Salesforce, MuleSoft, Tableau, Google, or LinkedIn login. Then, use that login method instead of email.
To keep your account secure, Trailblazer prompts you to verify any unverified connected product logins, email addresses, or socials. If you see a prompt to verify them when logging in, or from your Trailblazer account settings page, there are some possible reasons:
- You logged in with a social or Salesforce account that has an unverified email
address.
Note Verify an email address by retrieving the single-use code from your email account when prompted and entering it on the Enter Your Single-Use Code screen - When you logged in, we found other accounts that we think you own and are asking you to
verify them.
Note Verify a social account by clicking Log In to Verify and following the on-screen instructions.
If you decide to disconnect an identity instead of verifying it, your account activity remains unchanged. You must have at least one verified email associated with your account.
