System Administrators can add the calendar shortcut to the sidebar shortcut area for quick reference by their users.
To add the calendar shortcut, follow the instructions below:
1. Click on:
Setup | App Setup | Customize | Activities | Activity Settings
2. Select "Enable Sidebar Calendar Shortcut
NOTE: If enabled, the calendar shortcut displays above the Recent Items component. If the Recent Items component has not been added to your home page layouts, the calendar shortcut will NOT be displayed. For this to work, you must BOTH enable the calendar shortcut using the steps above and make sure the Recent Items component is on your home page layouts.
3. Click on Submit button to save the changes
