Logged out of Salesforce immediately after sign in

If you're getting logged out of Salesforce soon after logging in, the issue is commonly related to an issue with Internet Explorer and its settings. Before contacting Support, please review the below troubleshooting steps.


Check your Internet Explorer (IE) Settings

  • You'll first want to be sure you've configured IE properly by checking for newer versions of stored pages under the General tab. Here's how:

1. Under the "Browsing History" section, click Settings. 
2. Check that it's not set to "Never." 
3. If so, change the setting to "Automatically." 
4. Click Save
  • You'll also want to check common browser issues, like cache and cookies (Review the instructions that correspond to the type of machine you have, either a Mac and PC). 

If none of the above steps fix the issue, please log a case with Salesforce Support.
