Admin Request: Validation Rule

If you're making a request regarding a Validation Rule, here's the information that we need from you when you submit your case.


1. Production org or sandbox? (include your sandbox name or Org ID)

2. Would you like us to contact you before proceeding (even if requirements are clear)? We'll always contact you if something needs further explanation.

3. Object (for example: Account, Contact, Opportunity)

4. Rule Name (for example: Competitor lost to is required)

5. Activate Rule? (will remain inactive unless you specify otherwise)

6. Description (will be left blank unless you specify otherwise)

7. Rule Logic (for example: If 'Opportunity Stage' = Closed Lost, 'Competitor lost to' is a required field)

8. Error Message (for example: "Competitor lost to is a required field.")

9. Location of error (for example: Top of page or Field. For Fields, you must specify which field)
