Why does Salesforce for Outlook sync contacts I don't own?

Description The Outlook configuration to which you're assigned determines how Salesforce for Outlook syncs contacts. Your administrator can set up your Outlook configuration so that Salesforce for Outlook syncs contacts that either you own, or are related to accounts or opportunities that you or your team owns. Or, your administrator can set up your configuration to sync contacts that only you own.
Resolution Work with your administrator, who can change this behavior in the Outlook configuration's Data Set.
