Why is the limit to our Maximum Recipients per Mass Email still the same even after upgrading to a higher Salesforce Edition?

Description In some instances, the limit to an Organization's Maximum Recipients per Mass Email stays the same even after upgrading to a higher Salesforce Edition. For example, an Organization upgrades from Professional Edition (250 recipients per mass email) to Enterprise Edition (500 recipients per mass email) but still has a limit of 250 recipients per email instead of 500.
Resolution This can be corrected on Salesforce's end.
