Creating a new remote access application and how to find client Id

2. When one logs in salesforce, and click "Setup | Develop | Remote Access", and it says "Remote Access Objects have been moved to Applications. You'll be redirected to that page in five seconds, or you can click Take Me There to go now." Then  redirected to "Apps" page, but you won't find any option where you can create a "new remote access application".

Once you create a new remote access application, you will find a Save button. When you click Save, the Consumer Key (client_id is the Consumer Key) is created and displayed. You can refer the link below for more information:

After you are redirected, you will find an option of Connected Apps. Click on it and you would be able to create a new app.
Salesforce has launched a new pilot feature called Connected Apps. Here is the guide. You can set up remote access in that app page via connected apps. Administrator has more control using connected app feature.
