Workflow Email alert: Default Workflow User's email address is incorrect

Description I have set up a workflow rule to which I have attached an email alert. The From field for the Email Alert is set to the Default Workflow User. However, when the email alert is sent, the sender's email address is different from the one specified in the user page of the Default Workflow User.
Resolution
  1. Log in to the Default Workflow User's account
  2. Go to Setup | Personal Setup | Email | My E-mail Settings
  3. Check the Email Address given in 'What email address would you like to use as your return address?'

This email address will override the Default Workflow User's email address on the user page if it is different.
