Why has my App dropdown menu list disappeared

Description I use to have a dropdown menu list of Apps next to Help&Training which then gave me different tabs across the top of my screen, this is now gone. Can you please advise?
Resolution When you have a single App assigned to a profile, the dropdown menu list is removed so you no longer have any option beside Help&Training on the top right hand corner of your Salesforce pages.
In order to have this dropdown back to give you more options you need to have more than one App assigned to the profile.
You can assign Apps to profiles in 2 ways:

1) The App setup menu:
  1. Click on your name | Setup | Create | Apps
  2. Click on "Edit" next to an app
  3. Scroll down to the section 'Assigned to profiles' and choose the profiles you want to have the app visible for
  4. Click on 'Save'

2) The profile menu:
  1. From Setup, click Manage Users | Profiles.
  2. Select a profile.
  3. Depending on which user interface you're using, do one of the following:
    • Enhanced profile user interface—Click Assigned Apps, then click Edit.
    • Original profile user interface—Click Edit, then scroll to the Custom App Settings section.
  4. Select one default app. The default app appears when users log in for the first time.
  5. Select Visible for any other apps you want to make visible.
