How to add Email addresses in the Task send email dropdown

How to add multiple email Addresses in From field of tasks drop down menu while sending an email 
 
 
Resolution
Step 1:
  1. Click on your Name>Setup>Administration Setup>Email Administration>Organization-Wide Addresses>Add.
  2. Enter the Display Name and the Email Address (Has to be unique email address) you want to add to the drop-down menu.
  3. Select either: Allow All Profiles to Use this From Address Or Allow Only Selected Profiles to Use the From Address.
  4. Click Save.
  • A Verification Request will be sent to the Email provided in step 1, verify the Email address by clicking on the link been mailed to the specified mail address. Now the email address was added to the Activities “Send Email” dropdown menu in the From Field.
 
Step 2:
  1. Your Name>Setup>Personal Setup>Email>My Email Settings.
  2. In the Email Name field type in the name as you would like to see it appear on your outgoing mail.
  3. In the Email Address type in the Email address, you would like to use as your return address.
  4. Click Save.
