@mentioning a user as a comment to a Chatter Publisher Action created record returns the message "[username] does not have access to this record and will not be updated."
|Knowledge Article Number||000182176|
|Description||When a record is created using a Chatter Publisher Action it shows up in the feed of the record that it was created from. Users can comment on this post but, when @mentioning another user they will receive a message that the user does not have access, the user will not be notified of the @mention, and their name will be greyed out in the posting.|
|Resolution||Chatter feeds needs to be enabled for the type of record that the comment is related to. This is most likely to occur with Chatter Publisher Actions due to the ability to create records and have that action show up in the source record's feed.|
