Cost to Maintain a Salesforce Credential
|Knowledge Article Number||000186548|
|Description||There is an annual USD 100 maintenance fee for all Salesforce Certified individuals who hold either of the following credentials:
If you hold both credentials, the annual cost to maintain them is USD 200. The annual maintenance fee also includes the cost to maintain any higher-level credentials.
The maintenance fee is charged when you register for a release exam that corresponds to the release cycle season in which you first earned your credential. For example, if you earned your credential during the Summer ’12 certification release cycle, you will pay the maintenance fee upon registering for the Summer ’13 release exam and every Summer release exam thereafter. Please be aware some exceptions may exist; if you have any concerns please Open a Case with the Salesforce Certification team.
To determine the release cycle in which you were certified, check your exam history. The release cycle is indicated in parentheses at the end of the exam title. For example: (WI12) indicates you passed the exam during Winter ’12, (SP12) = Spring ’12, (SU12) = Summer ’12, and so on.
