Received an "Invalid Email Address" error when trying to deactivate a User

This error occurs when a System Administrator has enabled the "Disable Email Change Verification" feature for the Organization. Once enabled, the Admin provides Salesforce with a list of "Allowed Domains" (@gmail.com, @companydomain.com, etc) and if the affected email address domain is not within that list, it will produce the error. This can also happen if under your "My Email Settings," the sending email address has an email domain that is not part of the Allowed Domains list.
Resolve the issue
The User will need an email address that is on the Allowed Domain List or have a System Admin request additional domains be added by Support.
