CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) text is truncated in Quote PDFs
|Knowledge Article Number||000187654|
|Description||When generating a PDF Quote, CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) text in Long Text Areas (LTA) and Rich Text Areas (RTA) become severely truncated.|
CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) characters cannot be automatically word-wrapped/broken-up within generated Quote PDFs due to current limitations with the PDF rendering engine. The reason this occurs is that the text doesn't include any "white space" between characters. The engine attempts to render this text as a single line, which results in truncation. The current workaround to this issue is to manually break up the words with spaces, until it is rendered with complete visibility.
