Salesforce1 - Switch Login servers

By default, Salesforce1 is set up to connect to your production environment. If you want to connect Salesforce1 to your sandbox environment for testing purposes, redirect to a single sign-on location, or login using a Community URL you can configure the app to point to a different page during login.
Resolution
Option 1
To Change the login host on Apple iOS:
  1. On the Log In page, tap   Settings.
  2. You can also select one of the predefined instances: Production or Sandbox.
  3. For a My Domain or Community URL
  4. Tap + to add a new login host.
  5. Enter the host name URL of the new instance. Don’t include http:// in the host name.
  6. Optionally, enter a label for the new instance.
  7. Tap Done.
  8. Tap the name of the newly created instance, then log in.

To Change the login host on Android:
  1. On the Log In page, tap 3 dot menu at top right User-added image (note: depending on your Android setup, you may not see this icon. You will need to use the phone's built-in menu button)
  2. Tap "Change Server"
  3. You can also select one of the predefined instances: Production or Sandbox.
  4. Tap "Add Connection" button
  5. Enter a name for the new instance.
  6. Enter host name URL of the new instance. Include the https:// in the host name.
  7. Tap Apply
  8. Tap the name of the newly created instance, then Apply, then log in.
To remove different orgs from the dropdown, if you have multiple logins, you simply need to log out of that particular org, and it will remove it from your list. 

Option 2 (My Domain and iOS Only)

  On the login screen tap the link “log in to custom domain”. Then enter the name of your My Domain. If your full domain is company.my.salesforce.com, you only need to enter the word company.

Note: This is temporary and needs to be repeated each time you log in. To create a new instance that is permanent use option 1

IMPORTANT NOTE  : Please ensure Community URL or Custom Domain URL are Case Sensitive, and entered exactly as they are in your Org set up, otherwise you will return an error (ie: this site is under construction, cannot be found, etc )
