Visual Workflow Error: The interaction is not active.

Description

End Users who have Run Flows permission via their Profile are getting an error when trying to run a Flow that is in the form of a Custom Button. 
 

Error: 

The interaction is not active.
You cannot run this interaction because it is not active

 
Resolution This happens because the Flow Version ID is referenced in the Custom Button's URL and if you do not have Manage Force.com Flow permission on your Profile, you will not be able to access it. . 

For example: 

/flow/Flow_Name/301C0000000XXXXXXX?AnotherFieldName={!Object__c.FieldName}&retURL=/{!Object__c.Id}?latestSub=true

301C0000000XXXXXXX = The Version ID 

To fix this, remove the reference to the Version ID. The Flow will look like this: 
/flow/Flow_Name?AnotherFieldName={!Object__c.FieldName}&retURL=/{!Object__c.Id}?latestSub=true
