Can you auto-forward records to a Salesforce-to-Salesforce (S2S) Connection?

Description Most Objects will need to have records manually forwarded or sent by the use of Apex logic.
However, you may leverage Queues to send either Case, Lead, or Custom Object Records to a Connection via Assignment Rules or a Workflow Field Update.
  1. Create a new (or use an existing) queue. For Queue Members, be sure to select "Connections"User-added image
  2. AND
For your rule Assignment Rule entry, choose your queue for "Step 3: Select the user or queue to assign the case to"
Create a new Workflow Rule and Field Update Action that changes the owner to the queue you created
