Community users are unable to run Custom Report Types on the "Activities" object

|Description||Community users are receiving an "Insufficient Privileges" or “No available columns! You may have lost access to the fields” error message when attempting to access reports based on an "Activities" custom report type.
This behavior is occurring because Community Users cannot view the Activity Custom report type and hence the report must be build on standard report type.
|Resolution||Please follow the below steps to resolve the issue:
If Activities is one of the object involved in a Custom Report Type the report will display the field from other object however not from Activities Object.
