Why is there no Lookup icon when filtering on a picklist field, when adding products to Opportunities or Quotes

|Description||When adding a Product to a Quote or Opportunity record, some users may opt to filter on a Picklist field. In a Report or List View, a "lookup" icon or magnifying glass symbol appears to allow a user to insert picklist values as criteria. This does not occur when adding Products.
|Resolution||This is currently considered a feature request. The filter code is different on the Product search page as compared to Reports and List Views.|
