Are Lightning Experience and Classic UI supported for mobile browsers?

While it's possible to access and use some elements of the Classic UI and Lightning Experience from a web browser on your mobile phone or tablet, we don't actively support or provide troubleshooting assistance for those experiences when they're accessed outside of a desktop web browser. This also applies to success.salesforce.com and any other Salesforce.com related domains (Help & Training, Known Issues, and the Idea Exchange for example). Which mobile experiences are supported by Salesforce?
Salesforce1 is the only UI supported by Salesforce for mobile devices. Salesforce1 is available either via mobile web browser (as a mobile web experience) or as a mobile app, which can be downloaded from the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices.
Why aren't Classic UI and Lightning Experience supported?
Since touchscreen controls aren't built into the functionality for either experience, many elements don't function when viewed via mobile web browser, including but not limited to:
Other parts of the full site can render correctly and appear to function normally, but those features aren't designed to be used via mobile web browser and aren't guaranteed to work.
