We have determined that this issue occurs when the third party PowerDialer component is displayed in the Sidebar. The problem is that the PowerDialer component is an HTML Area that includes custom javascript which is breaking our standard functionality. We do not provide support for custom javascript within Home Page Components.

Multiple customers have encountered this issue, which can be resolved by removing the power dialer component from the home page layout.

If applicable, it can be removed from the assigned home page layout for those users who don't use the power dialer in their normal work

Users are free to leave this component in place on the home page layout, but the "show 10 items" or "show 25 items" will not function correctly in this context.
