How to find Salesforce Edition and API Version

|Description||This article will define how to check what Salesforce Edition and API version your organization is on.|
|Resolution||To identify which edition you are on:
- Find Setup and click the "Administer" setup section header if you have the Improved Setup User Interface in Salesforce Classic preference enabled otherwise, click the "Administration Setup" setup section header. Your current edition will be displayed in the top left of the resulting page.
To identify your current API version:
- Find Setup and enter API in the Quick Find box and click API under Develop. From there click "Generate Enterprise WSDL" and on the next page listing Installed Packages click the Generate button.
- On the resulting page your current API version will be listed in the green text or comment sections near the top. Example: "Salesforce.com Enterprise Web Services API Version 35.0"
API Version 34.0 = Summer '15
API Version 35.0 = Winter '16
API Version 36.0 = Spring '16
