Will changing Single Sign-On password impact OAuth connections?

No, changing your Single Sign-On (SSO) password won’t affect your OAuth connected apps.

When an application using OAuth is integrated for the first time, it obtains a token from OAuth. The token authorizes the application from that point going forward, so changes to your SSO password won’t affect the integration.

Tokens remain valid unless:

  • Revoked by the client on the server end of the application.
  • The User or Admin end the account (Freeze or Deactivate the user).
