Salesforce1 - How do I send device logs to Salesforce Support?

In the event you have to send Salesforce1 Event logs to Salesforce Support, in order to troubleshoot any issues you may experience with the Salesforce1 app, kindly follow the steps outlined below:

How to Activate Lightning Logging

1.  Open up the Salesforce1 app

2.  Click on the User-added image icon on the top left hand side of the Salesforce1 app.  This will bring up the Salesforce1 Navigation Menu.

3.  Scroll to the bottom, and select Settings.

4.  Click on "Advanced"

5. Open "Lightning Settings"

6. Check "Lighting Event Logging" checkbox

NOTE: Steps 5 and 6 are slightly different for iOS. Just tap on the "Enabled Lightning Logging" option in the "Advanced" Section.





How to send Event logs

1.  Open up the Salesforce1 app

2.  Click on the User-added image icon on the top left hand side of the Salesforce1 app.  This will bring up the Salesforce1 Navigation Menu.

3.  Scroll to the bottom, and select Settings.

4.  Click on "Advanced"

5.  Click on "Send Event Logs"

6.  Remove the email address: "iphonelogs@salesforce.com" from the To: field, and type in the email address of the Salesforce Support Agent you have to email it to.
