Can Published Articles be Mass Updated?

Description Is it possible to update Articles that have been published via API?
Resolution Articles can be updated via API (using DataLoader, Workbench, etc.) when the articles have a status of Draft. When an article is published, the PublishStatus field on the KnowledgeArticleVersion object is changed from "Draft" to "Online". If an attempt is made to update a published article via API, a message will be received indicating that only Draft articles can be updated.

As a workaround, you may be able to utilize the following app from the App Exchange. This app allows you to mass update published articles in your Salesforce organization.

Note: This package is not supported by Salesforce. It is strongly suggested that any changes are tested in sandbox environments.
