Can Published Articles be Mass Updated?

|Description||Is it possible to update Articles that have been published via API?|
|Resolution||Articles can be updated via API (using DataLoader, Workbench, etc.) when the articles have a status of Draft. When an article is published, the PublishStatus field on the KnowledgeArticleVersion object is changed from "Draft" to "Online". If an attempt is made to update a published article via API, a message will be received indicating that only Draft articles can be updated.

As a workaround, you may be able to utilize the following app from the App Exchange. This app allows you to mass update published articles in your Salesforce organization.
Note: This package is not supported by Salesforce. It is strongly suggested that any changes are tested in sandbox environments.
