Missing contact:email on opportunity standard report

Description When using the standard Opportunity report type, the Contact: Email field does not show as an available column in the report. However, when the Opportunity record is viewed you will see that it has a contact populated in the contact role.

 
Resolution The standard Opportunity report type will return a value on the Contact: Email field, only if the one of the contacts listed in the Contact role is marked as Primary. If none of the Contacts on the Opportunity Contact Role is marked as the primary, then no e-mail address will be returned on the report.

A workaround to this behavior is to:

1) Use the Opportunities with Contact Roles report 
2) One of the contacts listed on the Opportunity Contact role related list would need to be marked as a primary contact on the Opportunity.
