"Salesforce for Outlook was unable to open successfully - SQLite.Interop.dll"

Description You might run into an error while trying to run Salesforce for Outlook (SFO) after installation. The error would pop up and then after you click on OK SFO never runs.

“Unable to load DLL ‘SQLite.Interop.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)”

This error could occur due to a bad installation or a corrupted Salesforce for Outlook installer.  It also could be related to a wrong version of SQLite.dll file on the machine and due to a failed installation the correct version/bitness of this file is not being copied correctly to the destination folder

Resolution When Salesforce for Outlook gets installed, it copies all the necessary Dll's to the %Appdata%\\Salesforce for Outlook folder for the running user (the user who is logged in to the computer and is running the installer), however if the necessary files do not get registered or copied properly the application may fail to run

Please follow the steps on the
Complete uninstall install for Salesforce for Outlook   to uninstall and reinstall SFO and then try to reproduce the issue

On this Knowledge Article, on Option 1 Step A you can also choose the Repair option instead of Uninstall, but if you do not have the previously extracted files on your machine this process may fail. You can try to Repair and if it fails, then try to uninstall and reinstall
