Batch Add Thanks via Workbench
To assign Thanks via Workbench to multiple users, follow the steps below.GIverId is the Id of the user who is awarding the Thanks. You can get this from web browser’s location bar after navigating the user’s detail page.
Create a CSV file called WorkThanks with the following columns: GiverId, Message.
In the above image the URL is https://na15.salesforce.com/005i0000000TwE7?noredirect=1, so the user’s id would be 005i0000000TwE7
Message is the message that is displayed alongside the badge when you view a user’s Recognition tab.
Populate your WorkThanks file with the field values. One record for every thanks you plan on giving. Save your file in a CSV format.
Next, create a csv file called WorkBadge with the following columns: DefinitionId, RecipientId, SourceId (and NetworkId if you are adding thanks for community users)

RecipientId is the Id of the user you want to give the badge to. Use the steps from earlier to get the id of each user. You can also create a new User Report and add the UserId field > http://screencast.com/t/gb0bocmiMU
SourceId is the Id of the WorkThanks records you will be inserting. You will get the Ids after importing the WorkThanks file. Follow these steps to import the file and get the SourceIds:
NetworkId is the id of your community and should only be included if you are batch adding thanks for community users. To get the id you can go to Setup | Customize | Communities | All Communities. Hover over the community name and right-click and click on the 'Copy Link Location' action. It may be named differently depending on the browser you are using:
Paste the value in Notepad or another text editor and you should see something like this:
The NetworkId in this case would be 0DBC00000004L8g
To upload the WorkBadge file:
At this point the Badges should be awarded. You can visit one of the user’s Recognition tab to verify. You can optionally create Chatter posts for each badge you awarded. To do so, please follow these steps:
ParentId is the Id of the user (use the WorkBadge file to get these)
CreatedById is the Id of the giver (use the WorkThanks file to get these)
Body is the text you want to post
RelatedRecordId is the SourceId
Type should be set to RypplePost
NetworkScope should only be used if you have batch loaded thanks for community users. This column should be set to the value of NetworkId from the WorkBadge.csv file
