Work.com: Performance Cycles - Why is my Performance cycle stuck in 'Processing...' state after deploying it?

As of the Winter '15 release some users may have noticed that performance cycles get stuck in the 'Processing...' state after deploying them or adding a participant to them. This typically happens if the user who deployed the cycle (or added a new participant) does not have the updated permissions associated with a Performance Cycle Manager. See Page 20 of the Work.com Implementation Guide.
1. Log-in as a user with the outdated Performance Cycle Manager permission set
2. Go to the Performance | Deployment tab
3. Create a new cycle
4. Add participants
5. Deploy the cycle
To resolve the issue please give the user the most up-to-date permissions that we recommend for a Performance Cycle Manager. See Page 20 of the Work.com Implementation Guide.
Once the user is assigned the updated permissions they will be able to create a new cycle and deploy it without any issues.
