Change in Activation Date for “Serve Static Resources from the Visualforce Domain” Critical Update

Knowledge Article Number 000206451
Description Salesforce issued a Critical Update in the Winter ‘15 release, available in the Critical Update Console (CRUC), titled "Serve Static Resources from the Visualforce Domain”. This Critical Update originally had an auto-activation date of 12/10/2014 this was then changed to 04/30/2015 in order to give customers and partners more time to validate and resolve issues that have arisen from this change, the auto-activation date had been postponed until the Summer '16 release however in Spring '14 Salesforce removed the CRUC from the setup section.

The CRUC will be added back with the Spring'16 release and a new auto-activation date which will take place with the Summer'16 release

Please ensure that your organizations are tested and updated as needed in preparation for this activation, per the description in the Critical Update.
