Why is the quick create New button in Tasks and Events missing when I lookup a Contact?

|Description||When the look up icon next to "Contact" field is clicked on "Task/Event" object, lookup search pops up which would have the "New !" button. This is the quick create contact button.
But customer might note that this pop up screen no longer appears but instead "Select Contacts" pop up screen might appear stating "You can relate this task to as many as 50 contacts, including a designated primary contact"
|Resolution||This happens if the "Allow Users to Related Multiple Contacts to Tasks and Events" is selected
This setting can be found in
Setup > App Setup > Customize > Activities > Activities Settings
