Success Metrics for Product Releases

We do three major Salesforce releases a year - Spring, Summer and Winter

The following is a description of how Salesforce measures the success of each release:

Release Marketing Metrics:

- Page visits to Release Site

- View of the Release Videos

- Blogs and social engagement (views, likes, shares, etc)

Release Management Metrics:

- Upgrade completed on time (i.e. within the windows communicated to customers)

- Completing the upgrade within the 5 minute window

- All features enabled within the 24-hour post-script window
