Lightning Sync Validation Failure

Description Even though tests with the Remote Connectivity Analyzer (https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/) pass the following error is shown when entering the "Exchange Service Account Credential" in the Lightning Sync Setup page.

Resolution Possible Causes for this error:
  • User Name or Password are incorrect
  • Exchange server is not running in "Autodiscover" mode
  • Ports are not open on the local LAN or DMZ to allow the salesforce application to access Microsoft Exchange.
