Resubscribe an unsubscribed subscriber in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 or 4.0

Description
If you have unsubscribed Contacts in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 or 4.0 you can click an "unsubscribe link" in an email and resubscribe to them. The resubscribe feature allows you to resubscribe an Account, Contact, or Lead. 

Note: You must have Administrative Data Management user permission to use this feature.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0

To resubscribe a contact or lead:
 

1. Click the Marketing tab on the navigation bar. 
2. Click Accounts, Leads or Contacts.
3. Double-click the Lead or Contact to resubscribe them.
The Lead or Contact detail window appears.
4. Click the Administration tab in the workspace.
5. Select Re-subscribe Record from the "ExactTarget" menu. 

 

The system removes the Lead, Contact, or Account from the Marketing Cloud unsubscribe list and changes the "Bulk E-mail" value to Allow
 

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 

To resubscribe a Contact or Lead:
 

1. Click the Marketing tab on the navigation bar. 
2. Click Accounts, Leads, or Contacts
3. Double-click the Account, Lead or Contact to resubscribe. 
    The Account, Lead, or Contact detail window appears. 
4. Select Re-subscribe Record from the "ExactTarget" menu. 
 

The system removes the Lead, Contact, or Account from the Marketing Cloud unsubscribe list and changes the "Bulk E-mail" value on the Administration tab to Allow.
