There are two training courses which we suggest you would find useful as a starting point. These training courses are available to all customers, on-demand.
Getting Started: Navigating Salesforce (20 mins)
will introduce you to standard Salesforce terminology and explain how to navigate around the user interface.
Getting Started: Using the Sales Cloud (30 mins)
Topics include tracking the lifecycle of a lead, creating accounts and contacts, managing visibility of accounts, tracking a deal in the sales pipeline, collaborating on a sales deal, predicting and planning the sales cycle, measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and maximizing productivity in Salesforce.
