Subscribe Report notification only shows Record Count on the Aggregate drop down list.

Knowledge Article Number 000212952
Description Why is the only available option on "Aggregate" drop down list is Record Count.
Resolution This is due to the following reasons :
  • The report format is Tabular.
  • No summary field or custom summary formula available on the report.
Note: Number, percent and currency are the only field types that can be summarize and set as an aggregate value for report notification.


To add more options on aggregate drop down list, please follow the steps below:
  1. Open the report and Click on Customize
  2. Change the format to Summary
  3. Add a summary field
  • Double-click a field in the Fields pane or Drag a number field into the preview.
  • Click on the arrow next to the summary field and choose Summarize this Field.
  1. Click Save to store the changes
Note: Without saving the changes, the field you summarized will not show up on the aggregate drop down list.
  1. Run the report and click on Subscribe.
  2. Select the desired field on Aggregate field drop down list and click on Save
