Extra spaces appear in a received Marketing Cloud email

Extra spaces in a rendered email occur when an email client includes an extra space to break up a long strings of HTML.  Long strings of HTML exceed thresholds set in place by email clients if a hard return is not encountered before that threshold is met.

Remove the extra spaces

1. Find a Multi-Attribute tag in the middle of the long HTML string.
2. Click in between the Attributes of the tag. 
3. Press Enter.

-Doing this does not impact how the HTML renders and it will correct the problem of extra spaces appearing.
