Bullets show in a different color than the text in Content Canvas

Bullet points used within the Content Canvas editor may be a different color than the text they relate to. If you're using numbered or alphabetical bullet points, they might also be a different font, size or both. These formatting issues are caused by each item being formatted differently.
To resolve this, the whole list, paragraph or section of text needs to be formatted the same. This can be done in the HTML formatting. If each bullet or sentence of text has different formatting, all of this existing formatting needs to be removed. Learn how to delete all formatting for style, font-size or color, and then add the formatting to the entire area of text below.
Formatting a section of text
1. At the beginning of the section of text you want to format, add the <span> tag, and then add the formatting for style, font-size and color you want to be applied to all of the text.

2. At the end of the section, add the closing tag, </span>.
3. The entire section of a numerical or alphabetical list along with an introductory statement needs the following HTML code to apply the formatting to the whole list and statement:
