Lightning For Outlook error "App Error Something went wrong and we couldn't start this app.."

Description When opening and logging in to Lightning For Outlook in Outlook Web App user will see error “App Error Something went wrong and we couldn't start this app. Please try again later or contact your system administrator”.

This is most likely caused by no or incorrect app configuration in Office365/Exchange Online for Lightning For Outlook.

 
Resolution

In order to resolve this issue, Office 365 or Exchange Online administrator must enable the app using EAC (Exchange admin center) option and adding it from the Office Store. For more information, please visit below Microsoft resources:
