Web Collect adds Subscribers to list as active with double opt-in enabled

Double opt-in is enabled on a list, but when the Subscriber submits their email address through Web collection, they're added as active instead of unsubscribed.
When double opt-in is enabled on a list, all subscribers added through Web Collect forms should be unsubscribed by default until they confirm their subscription from the opt-in message they receive.
To resolve the issue, remove the following line of code included in the Web Collect form:
<input type="hidden" name="status" value="normal">
This code forces the Subscriber to be added with a normal (active) status and overrides the double opt-in feature.
