Why am I getting an error selecting a template in the Manage Communities section?

Description If going to Go to Setup > Customize > Communities > All Communities > Select a Community > Change template results in an error, there is currently a workaround to fix the issue.
Resolution Instead of directly going to Manage Communities, follow these steps first then return to the "Manage" section of your Community and you should be able to select the Template you need:
  1. Go to community builder
  2. Select Overview
  3. Click on 'Go to Site.com Studio'
  4. Wait for the site to fully load in site.com studio.
  5. Exit studio, and go back to Community Management.
  6. Try to change the template.
