Salesforce for Outlook Single Sign on authentication is none responsive?

Description Some organizations utilize a single sign on dialog box that the user needs to action during the authentication of Salesforce for Outlook. After supplying any needed credentials the page becomes unresponsive. 
Resolution Check and remove href="javascript:void(0) from any code for that page.  This statement is not needed and can cause problems with the submission depending on the browser types used.
