Comply with FedRAMP Standards by Setting Minimum Password Length at 15 Characters

Knowledge Article Number 000214214
Description

Account security is one of our top priorities, and it should be one of yours. Salesforce has added the option to set the minimum password length for your organization at 15 characters, previously 12 characters was the longest requirement you could set.

Requiring this minimum length puts your organization in compliance with United States Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) security standards.

See Comply with FedRAMP Standards by Setting Minimum Password Length at 15 Characters for more information.
