Increasing External IDs

In the event your organization requires additional External Ids for a given object, Salesforce Support can help action this request. 

Prior to requesting this increase it's best to review the following documentation regarding External Ids:
How many External ID's can each object / entity have?
Resolution If you've reviewed all relevant documentation and would like to move forward with increasing this limit please take the following steps: 
  1. Have a System Administrator log a Case with Salesforce Support 
  2. Please include all important details including a business case for the request as well as the limit requested.
  3. Support will review the Case and action it as needed.
