Identity Connect - Certificate Error while logging through SalesForce1 Mobile App

The error, "The certificate for the server is invalid.You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "" indicates that you could put your confidential information at risk. We'll show you what to do to make sure your confidential information stays confidential.

  1. Check that the certificate is a production ready certificate, a certificate that completely matches the DNS of the IDP, and not a wildcard certificate.
  2. Make sure there is no certificate error or warning when you log in through a normal web browser.
  3. If the error still persists you'll want to check if the certificate requires and immediate certificate to validate against the root certificate. You'll also want to make sure that the intermediary certificate has been correctly added to the keystore.
